YADAH Triple Tintin Gloss

Hey loves!

It's international lipstick day! Yayyy! Time to get your favorite lipsticks out and wear them proud! I'm wearing one of my favorite, my MAC Ruby Woo as of the moment I am writing this particular blog post. I've already made a post about it though so for today, I'll share the newest one in my collection. It's not a lipstick though but it's a combination of lipglosses and a lip tint...

YADAH Triple Tintin Gloss Lipgloss

And if you don't know me already, I usually buy makeup if they are on sale or if they belong to my favorites. So yeah, this one was on sale! I got this for only PhP 100.00 from the original price of PhP 395.00.

On their packaging, you can read their claims that this product is paraben-free (preservatives, more info here), mineral oil-free (info here, some may be allergic to this like my sis), ethanol-free (alcohol can cause drying or irritation), triethanolamine-free (an emulsion to bind water and oil soluble ingredients, can cause allergic reactions), and propylene glycol-free (another alcohol).

I'm no expert at all those ingredients but I try to google what they are about. I provided links so you can see for yourself what these chemicals and oils are about. :)

Anyhoo... besides being hugely discounted, I bought it because it's a three-in-one product. You get a red lip tint and two glittery lip glosses for a value of PhP 100! I bought this during the mid year sale this July in case you're wondering. :)

Here are closeup pictures of the product. I took photos of how it looks like per part of the product to see how it works and how the applicators look like.

This one is the clear, glittery gloss

Translucent pink gloss

Red lip tint

Here are the swatches. All so beautiful and sparkly. :3

The tint leaves a stain too so your lips will remain reddish for a long while.

Below are swatches of the tint and glosses. I provided swatches of how they look like combined. Just for an easier way to caption and understand each swatch, I will mark them by the following:

1 = red tint
2 = translucent pink gloss
3 = Clear gloss

1 only

2 only

3 only

1 + 2

1 + 3

1 + 2 + 3

With just this product, I was able to create various looks! Below are pics of me with all three shades applied on my lips:

I love the effect when I applied the pink gloss on top of the tint! It's so wearable and I think it would look good in most (if not all) skin color. It's a great find and I think it would be great for traveling since you don't have to stick to one look with this in hand. Although, since the amount per shade is small, especially the tint, it will only last a short while if you use this frequently... which is not a big deal for me! I love it when I get to finish a makeup product! I feel like I got my money's worth... and I was able to get it so cheap! So happy! :3

And that, my dear, is my post for international lipstick day! A nice addition to my stash... I'll go hug my lipstick collection later when I get home and maybe share a pic on Instagram. Hihihi. :P

And oh! It's also world lasagna day! Care for some lasagna? ;)

NOTD: Meiji Apollo Strawberry Chocolates-Inspired

Hey dearies!

It was time to change my nail polish again! I wanted to use some of my new Skin Food nail polishes I bought from Jeju. So while I was looking at my nail polish collection, I saw a chocolate brown polish and a pastel pink one and thought that this combination would be a nice cupcake-inspired nail art. So yeah, my initial design was a cupcake look for my nails.

I applied my nail art at work (hopefully my boss won't see this LOL). During the middle of the application, I noticed that the design was familiar and it doesn't remind me of a cupcake but of a different sweet food...

With the help of my officemate, we realized that it looked like a Japanese chocolate candy!

Meiji Apollo Strawberry Chocolate Candy

Seeee!!! Almost the same color! Haha! I would go and try to make my nails more rectangular... but I won't. :P

Anyway, here are the products I used for the nail polish.

The design is pretty easy to do. I tried to document how I did this NOTD...

After I added my Palladio Moisture Surge Nail Repair, I applied one coat of the chocolate brown shade.

Then I added the pastel pink shade. I made sure I did three curves. As you can see, with one coat, you can still see the brown underneath so I applied more coats.

And voila! Here are my Meiji Apollo Strawberry Chocolate nails!

Excuse the messy application. I took the photos right after I finished applying them. :P

And that's my NOTD! What do you think of this?

ARTDECO Eyeshadow Glamour in 345 Glam Beige Rose

Hey loves!

I was at Robinsons Magnolia last week during their mid year sale. As usual, I wasn't planning on buying makeup but my senses to find products on sale were tingling and I ended up in the section of Beauty Bar where all the items were on sale. LOL

I bought a couple of items and this one is one of them...

ARTDECO Eyeshadow Glamour in 345 Glam Beige Rose

I was able to score this on sale for only PhP 192.50 from the original price of PhP 350.00.

I dunno if you know this by now but I LOVE sparkly stuff, my favorite cosmetic is eyeshadow, and I LOVE the color peach so obviously, this product was the first thing I saw among the bunch of items that were on sale (even if it's like an inch big only) and among the hundreds of eyeshadows available from the brand.

Just look at it!!! It's so glamorous!!! That is why it belongs to the Glamour range and well, it's name has "glam" on it too. Love it!

Here's a swatch on my hand

And here's how it looks like when I apply it:

I just added the brown eyeshadow at the outer corner of my eye. :)

The eyeshadow is pigmented but a little powdery. It can stay on without creasing the whole day provided that I have a good eyeshadow primer on. Yay!

What I like about the color is how wearable it is. It's something I can use in the office or just out in the mall. I also like the fine shimmers that makes it so glam.

So happy that I was able to spot this at a lower price. I've been using this a lot lately, especially when I'm feeling extra feminine that day. I pair it with my Nars blush in Deep Throat and Revlon Lipstick in Pink in the Afternoon and the result is an instant "blooming" look!

What's your recent purchase that you really love?

Pamper Weekends with Caronia Hand and Foot Care System

Hey everyone!

I think many of you would agree with me that our feet suffer the most after a long work day when it comes to our body, especially now that it's the rainy season! I work in UST and that place gets flooded quite easily after a couple of hours of heavy rain. We expose our feet to long walks when we commute, getting soaked in the rain/flood while wearing closed shoes, occasionally wearing uncomfortable footwear (I've done this a lot just to look a little prettier. Haha!), and just plain carrying our weight everyday (THIS!!! Haha! I am plus-sized and I have small feet. So yeah, my feet take a lot of pain everyday! Haha!) ! As a result, we get callus, cracks, and sometimes blisters. Yikes!

So I make it a habit that when I get home, the first thing I do is to remove my shoes and let my feet rest for a while before I do chores or take a bath and such for at least thirty minutes.

I would like to treat my feet for a luxurious foot spa once a week if I could but the practical me would not want to spend so much money if I can just do it myself at home!

And here's where the Caronia Hand and Foot Care System comes in. This is a range from Caronia that help our hands and feet to look good and moisturized. I currently have the Rejuvenating Soak and Wash, Renewing Scrub, and Nourishing Cream. I have tried the Nourishing cream before and I liked it very much that I bought another one. I love the scent because it's green tea, and I LOVE green tea!

I was recently included to their blogger list whom they keep updated about the newest trends and products of the brand. I'm happy to grab the opportunity because Caronia is indeed a leading brand when it comes to nail, hand, and foot care in our country. Anyway, the products above were given to me by the brand almost a month ago along with a cute pink case and a towel. I've been using them ever since I received them and I'll share my quick thoughts about them. :)

But first, check out the press release below about the range:

CAREFREE RAINY DAYS WITH CARONIA

The rainy season is here and as we prepare for the wet days ahead, sometimes it's easy to forget to take care of our body.

These unpredictable days normally soak our hands and feet, making them prone to dryness after some time. But don't worry because we have got you covered with the Caronia Hand and Foot Care System - three quick steps that will give you a soothing and rejuvenating hand and foot spa experience:

STEP ONE: Caronia Revitalizing Soak & Wash - Cleanse, soothe, and soften your hands and feet with the luxurious blend of Green Tea fragrance, soothing menthol and skin-softening dead sea salt.

STEP TWO: Caronia Renewing Scrub – Exfoliate dead skin cells and ease tired hands and feet muscles with the gentle mix of apricot seeds and white wax beads plus the calming infusion of Green Tea fragrance, massage oils and menthol

STEP THREE: Caronia Nourishing Crème – Smoothen and hydrate your hands and feet with the mix of Panthenol combined with refreshing green tea fragrance.

And you're done! So try the Caronia Hand and Foot Care system now and have fun in the rain!

_______

So as I have mentioned, I do this almost every weekend. The three steps are pretty simple to follow and you don't need to buy other expensive items to pamper your hands and feet. Everything is affordable including the Caronia range!

Just get your products, a towel, a wash basin, and a floor rug (for cleanliness reasons). A foot brush and pumice is optional. :)

I took pictures of each product, just click the photo or open it on another tab for a bigger view and to read the labels. :) I also took pictures of the usual process I do when I treat my feet with the Caronia Hand and Foot Care range.

I first soak my feet in a wash basin with the Revitalizing Soak and Wash. The amount I use depends on how much water I have in my basin. I don't have a particular amount in mind, I just estimate it according to the foam and the scent. :P

I soak my feet for 15-30 minutes. I usually watch an episode of a TV series that I like during that week. I also brush it with a foot brush after for further cleaning. I sometimes use the pumice to get rid of surface dead skin.

After soaking, I massage the Renewing scrub.

I massage the product for a good 5 minutes. I like that the beads that help exfoliate aren't too gritty but they are not too soft as well.

Finally, the Nourishing Creme. I apply this the last and I also apply it every night before I hop into bed.

The consistency is not too thick. This cream helps to keep your hands and feet moisturized but if you want intensive moisturization, then I think you should look for it from a different product. I think this is more on maintenance... at least for me based on my experience.

It's awesome that you can achieve a spa experience at the convenience of your home using these products from Caronia. I'll definitely continue with my weekend foot spa routine and pamper my feet with love and the awesome scent of green tea! :D

If you want to try the range out, Caronia products are available in leading Department Stores, Supermarkets, Drug Stores, and Health and Beauty shops nationwide.
